Pakistani government will refund tax on textile exporters

The Pakistani government has decided to refund the taxes collected from textile exporters in the name of old-age benefits and pensions, thus helping to expand Pakistan’s textile exports.

Shahid Rashid, Bureau of Textile Industry, said that the government has even developed a new system for this purpose.

At a meeting held by the Textile Exporters Association of Pakistan (PTEA) and textile exporters, he said that the government knows well the problems faced by the textile industry in the textile industry and the importance of the textile industry to the country.

In addition, he also said that the textile industry is the backbone of the national economy, but due to financial constraints, the government has not implemented the textile policy in accordance with the true spirit of the textile policy.

He added that the Ministry of Finance has called for funding the textile industry, such as tax refunds.

At the meeting, PTEA President Rana Arif Tauseef put forward a detailed review of the problems and obstacles faced by the textile industry and exports.
