According to the understanding of Taiwan media, traditional textiles must undergo painting, design, pattern making, tailoring, and textile processes to complete the finished product; general non-woven fabrics are mostly used for wet tissues, diapers, wrappings, and hygienic materials. Because the nonwoven fabric lacks elasticity, it is not suitable to use non-woven fabrics to manufacture clothing, shoes, and caps.

The Taiwan Textile Research Institute stated that after one and a half years of research and development, the nonwovens used in the spinning process of the nonwovens changed the raw materials into flexible Lycra materials and sprayed on the models of clothes, shoes and caps to make finished products. The entire spraying process was only It took 2 minutes to save a great deal of time and effort in the textile process.

Textile Institute pointed out that in the process of spraying clothes, shoes, and caps, in order to strengthen the elasticity or pull force, it is possible to heat-press other materials during the manufacturing process, such as melt-blowing Laika non-woven fabrics, plus a layer of mesh. Spraying non-woven fabric can form elastic shoe body, and then can add processing adhesive soles, decoration, sewing marks and other processing.

The Textile Institute stated that these meltblown materials can be recycled without wasting scraps of leftovers and have now applied for patents. The Textile Institute showcased this new technology at the Taipei Textile Show in Taipei World Trade Hall 1 for three days starting today.
