Small diamond classification no longer 愁 automatic system solution worry

"Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Industry Technology & Supplies Fair" METS2015 will be held at the Hong Kong Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre from June 24 to 27, 2015. At that time, Hong Kong Yongsheng Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will exhibit the automatic diamond classification system Auto DISSSORTERTM.

Auto DIASSORTER, jointly developed by Yongsheng Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, can automatically classify diamonds from 0.8mm to 3mm in diameter according to diamond color (D to J) and clarity (VVS to I). This system uses the latest image processing technology to determine the nature of diamonds by analyzing photos taken by two high resolution cameras. The average time to analyze each diamond is only 6 seconds.

Auto DIASSORTER operates in a fully automated format. Diamonds of the same or same color are sent to individual containers, and the results of the grading are displayed on the LCD screen for easy analysis of large numbers of diamonds.

It is reported that Yongsheng Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is considering combining third-party CVD diamond identification instruments with Auto DIASSORTER to provide automated CVD diamond analysis services.
