MARIMEKKO Mary Magdalene Women's 2017 Milan Spring Summer Fashion Show Reproduces Classic Style

Marimekko's new spring-summer 2017 collection is inspired by Bohemian style. It is joined with illustrators Liselotte Watkins and Paavo Halonen to create a new print design, accompanied by luxury leather, canvas accessories and exquisite jewellery, with colourful elements. Perfect combination with playful style.

"Mari" comes from the name of an ordinary Finnish girl named "Mary", "Mekko" means "skirt", and when it is said, "Marie's skirt." Seasonal design focuses, and the founder of the brand, Armi Ratia, also wanted to show Marimekko a fun, positive and stylish fashion with various prints on these skirts.
